MARK AND TAMSIE McHALE
“Salon owners”, Mark has been hairdressing for many years after managing Saks Hair & Beauty Bishop Auckland, he opened HairHaus 10 years ago with 5 team members. The business has now expanded joining 2 properties together and employing over 20 members of staff specialising in all different aspects of Hair and Beauty. Regular training and competition work is what the team strive on, opening magazines to see a member of the team’s creative work on show or a mention of the salon, gives the team a great buzz!
KENDRA HUGHES
I’ve been at HairHaus for 10 yrs, where I started as anassistant and worked my way up to salon manager. During my career I haveinvolved myself in competitions, photo shoots, shows and training. I have takenpart in TIGI’s ‘Inspirational Youth Team’ 2006 and was a part of L’Oreal’sfirst NE ‘Evolution Team’ 2009 where you are given the all the training youneed to present models at the end of year live show. I was nominated by one ofmy clients for Nations favorite hairdresser and selected as a northeastfinalists and went on to represent the northeast in the 9 national finalists in2008. In the future I would like to be nominated for NorthEast Hairdresser ofthe year. I absolutely love my job and our team, so get on the phone and become1 of our family.X
JILL GREGG
Hi, I am an L’Oreal Color Specialist/ Senior Stylist in thesalon. I have worked at HairHaus for almost 5 years. Apart from being a busystylist, I am part of the salon training team and like to help out withCompetition work. I have gained my assessor’s qualification and in 2010 Icompleted my L’Oreal Colour Specialist Degree which is the most comprehensivecolouring course in the hairdressing industry. So if you have a hair disasteror just fancy a change, just book in with me and I will get you sorted 
HELEN ROBINSON
Hi I’m Helen I’ve been working at HairHaus for 10 yrs,it’s like a life sentence Ha-Ha but I love it. I’m the smallest person in thesalon but the loudest!! I love doing hair up and hair extensions. I have takenpart in a fair few training courses and competitions during my career. I ampart of the salon training team and I am currently at college doing my teachingcertificate which I am really enjoying. I think it’s great working with thismad lot.
ANNE MARIE BAILEY
Hi there people, I am Stylist at HairHaus and joined theteam 4 yrs ago, starting in our gents barbers and now I work full timedownstairs. I really enjoy doing both ladies and gents hairdressing so I getgood crack out of them both. I have taken part in TIGI’s ‘Inspirational YouthTeam’ 2009 and I am near the end of my final year as part of L’Oreal’s'Evolution Team’. I enjoy taking part in competitions and helping out with oursalon photo shoot’s. My specialty is short hair and making the whole salon laugh!!!
AMY CARPENTER
Hi they call me aimski. I started at HairHaus as anassistant and completed my training to become a stylist in 2008. I enjoy allaspects of hair and love doing Hair up. I am now working part time at the salonafter having my son Frankie who keeps me busy at home. Amy’s working hours willbe Thurs 3.30-8.00, Fri 2-6.00 and Sat 9-4.30.
(Amy is returning to work from maternity leave on Tues 1st feb. Amy’s working hours will be Tues 12-6, Thurs 3.30-8 and Sat 9-4.30)
LEANNE CLARKE
Hi, I have worked for HairHaus for 6 years and have enjoyedevery minute here! I have done many things at HairHaus which include helpingout on the photo shoots, taking part in competitions and training courses, Ilove learning new things. I really enjoy been in the salon as it gives me thechance to meet new people. After starting a family and having my son Shay I nowwork part time front of Haus as one of our receptionists. HairHaus is a greatplace to work with a nice atmosphere.
LISA FLETCHER

Since starting at HairHaus I have been involved in competitions, photoshoots and training courses. After having my son Lewis I returned to work parttime working in our gent’s barbers.

KRISTEY JEWITT

PAULA VASEY
I have been in the beauty industry for 11 yrs, training at BeautyCollege in Windsor and the academy of beauty in Nottinghamshire. I offer allbeauty treatments and specialize in Diamond microdermabrasion, hot and coldtherapies, skin scrubber and ultrasonic treatments. I have trained with KarinHerzog skin care in Manchester which offers the much talked about chocolatefacial and have recently introduced my clients to our new ‘Oxygenating Facial’,which when teamed with a microdermabrasion treatment leaves your skin feelingbrand new.
JUSTINE HOPPS
I have worked at HairHaus for 3 yrs. I came on my workexperience to HairHaus where I was given a Saturday job and when I left school Iwas given a full time job as an assistant. In 2010 all assistants where giventhe chance to do the hairs of the finalists of our ‘Face of HairHaus ‘competition for the photo shoot where I won the insalon prize for the best lookand my model Hannah won the Face of HairHaus!! I have recently completed my NVQLevel 2 in hairdressing and now I am concentrating on building up my own clientele.I enjoy doing hair ups and highlighting most in the salon.
EMMA LYLE
I’ve been working at HairHaus for just over 2 yrs. I joined the team as an assistant and have enjoyed all the in salon and out of salon coursesI have took part in which has helped me to recently complete my NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing. In the salon I enjoy colouring ladies hair and working in our gents barbers.
SIMON BOUCHER
I have joined the Hairhaus team as a qualified stylist of 3 yrs. Since starting I have been involved in the ‘Face of HairHaus’ photo shoot, training courses and entered some competitions. I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing but most of all I love doing Big Bouncy Blowdries!!
SIAN STEPHENS
I have joined the Hairhaus team as a qualified stylist of 3 yrs. Since joining the team I have done my own model shoot for L’Oreals Young Colourist competition and taken part in training courses. I now work upstairs in our gent’s barber’s part time which is really good crack!
Sian’s working hours are Tues 12-8, Wed 12-8, Sat 9-4.30.
CATHERINE WALTERS
Hello, I have just joined the salon team working part time with Leanne at front of Haus on reception. I am really enjoying been part of the team and I am currently in my final year of my Law Degree at university.
